SSC JE 2023: Negative Marking Scheme Revised, Check Official Notice Here

Staff Selection Commission
has revised the negative marking scheme. As per the official notice released by the Staff Selection Commission, SSC, 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer in paper 1 and 1 mark will be cut off in paper 2.
As per the earlier marking scheme pattern, it said that there will be negative marking equal to one-third of the marks allotted to the question for each wrong answer in Paper-I & Paper-II.
Now, there will be negative marking of 0.25 marks in Paper-I and 1 mark in Paper-II for each wrong answer as per the official notice
"Other terms and conditions of the Notice of aforesaid examination shall remain unchanged." reads the notice
To appear for SSC JE
, the minimum education qualification required is B.E/B. Tech. Degree or Diploma in Electrical, Civil or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university
SSC JE Exam
2023 will be held on October 9, 10 and 11, 2023. The syllabus will include General intelligence and reasoning for 50 marks, General awareness for 50 marks, general engineering: civil engineering for 100 marks, General engineering: Electrical engineering for 100 marks and General engineering: Mechanical engineering for 100 marks
There will be two papers for JE - Paper 1 will be objective multiple choice and paper 2 is also objective multiple choice. Both will be conducted in online CBT mode.
