, has donated a substantial amount of gold and silver for the construction of the main gate of the Ram Janmabhoomi temple. The Mandal, known for its grand celebrations during the Ganesh Utsav
, has contributed 48 grams of gold and 167 kg of silver towards the construction of the gate. This significant contribution will add a touch of grandeur to the entrance of the Ram Mandir
The Richest Ganpati Bappa
is adorned with an astonishing 66 kg of gold and 295 kg of silver jewelry, has captured the hearts of devotees and celebrities alike.
The main gate, which will be adorned with the precious metals sent by Mumbai's richest Ganpati Bappa, will serve as a symbol of devotion and unity. The temple, expected to attract a crowd of over 2 lakh devotees daily, will accommodate meals for over 40 thousand devotees every day.
To ensure the safety and security of the temple and its visitors, a state-of-the-art surveillance system has been installed, featuring cameras equipped with a face recognition system.
Previously, the occasion of Chandrayaan
was also been marked with a special havan (ritualistic fire ceremony) to seek blessings. The five-day Ganpati celebration organized by GSB Seva Mandal witnessed the performance of more than 30 thousand havans, showcasing the devotion of the devotees.
As per the Timesnow Navbharat report, GSB Seva Mandal has insured the majestic Maha Ganpati idol for a amount of Rs 360.40 crore. This insurance policy covers various risks associated with the gold and silver jewelry, including an all-risk policy worth Rs 38.47 crore. An additional special risk policy of Rs 2 crore covers standard fire and earthquake risks, while a public liability cover of Rs 30 crore ensures the safety of the pandal and the devotees. The largest portion, amounting to Rs 289.50 crore, is dedicated to providing personal accident insurance cover for the dedicated volunteers and staff.
