The Viral video shows two men engaged in a vigorous brawl inside a crowded metro carriage. In a separate incident, Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has called upon the police to conduct a thorough investigation into a video that recently circulated online. The footage shows two women applying colours to each other inside a train, sparking criticism from commuters ahead of Holi.
The DMRC, in response to the video, took swift action and wrote to the Delhi Police on Tuesday, urging for a detailed probe into the incident. Anuj Dayal, the Principal Executive Director of DMRC, stated, "The DMRC has written a letter to the Delhi Police, urging for a comprehensive investigation into the incident where two women were filming a video inside the Delhi Metro prior to Holi."
The video captured the attention of a significant number of commuters who expressed their discontent on various social media platforms. In the video, that was shot for an Instagram reel, two women can be seen seated on the floor of a metro train, engaging in the act of applying colours to each other.
Delhi Metro has been actively running campaigns both online and offline to discourage passengers from engaging in any behaviour that might inconvenience fellow commuters. Additionally, mobile checking squads have been deployed periodically to ensure compliance with the established norms.
