BHEL Q4 Results 2024: Company Announces Dividend - Know Amount And Other Details

Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), a leading engineering and manufacturing company in India, has announced its financial results for the fourth quarter ending March 31, 2024.
Heavy electrical equipment maker Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) on Tuesday reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 489.6 crore for the fourth quarter of FY24, marking a 25 per cent decline from Rs 658 crore in the same period last year. Despite this drop in net profit, the company saw a slight increase in revenue from operations.
BHEL's revenue from operations for the January-March quarter stood at Rs 8,260.2 crore, a marginal rise of 0.4 per cent compared to Rs 8,226.9 crore in the corresponding period of the previous year.
The revenue from income saw a modest increase of 0.8 per cent, reaching Rs 7,883.8 crore in Q4 FY24, up from Rs 7,819.3 crore in the same quarter last year.
For the entire fiscal year FY23, BHEL's net profit plummeted by 56.8 per cent to Rs 282.2 crore, reflecting a significant decline from the previous year's figures.
Revenue from Operations:
The company's revenue from operations for the full fiscal year rose by 2.6 per cent, amounting to Rs 23,982.7 crore compared to the previous year's total. The Earning Per Share (EPS) for Q4 2024 was Rs 1.89, up from Rs 0.81 in Q4 2023.
The company also announced a dividend of Rs .25 per share. As per the company's filing on the NSE, "The Board has recommended Final Dividend @12.50 %~for (Rs. 25 per share of Rs. 2/-each) on the paid up share capital of the Company for FY 2023-24. Final Dividend, if declared by the Company in the Annual General Meeting shall be paid/ dispatched within 30 days from the date of Ammal General Meeting."
On Tuesday, the shares of BHEL closed at Rs 318.80, 2.72 per cent up from the previous day's closing. The 52 week high and low of the share is Rs 322.50 and Rs 77.25 respectively.
