Billionaire magnate Gautam Adani has further bolstered his holdings in Adani Enterprises, marking a notable increase of 1.32% during the April to June quarter, as revealed in a statement to the stock exchanges on June 14.
The acquisition of this stake in Adani Enterprises unfolded in two distinct transactions. Initially, between May 10 and May 14, Adani secured an additional 0.42% stake in the conglomerate's flagship company through Kempas Trade and Investment, according to the exchange filing.
This move was succeeded by a subsequent purchase, amounting to a 0.92% stake, executed via Emerging Market Investment DMCC from May 21 to June 12.
The disclosure was made subsequent to the closure of the market on Friday, with Adani Enterprises shares concluding at Rs 3,269 on the NSE, marking an increase of Rs 45.50 or 1.41%.
According to the BSE analytics, the shares have given returns of 32.83 per cent in the last 1 year and massive returns of 2044.92 per cent in the last 5 years.
