New Delhi: Oil marketing companies have announced an increase in the prices of LPG gas cylinders, effective today, October 1. The rate for a 19 kg commercial LPG gas cylinder has been raised by Rs 48.50, while the price of 5 kg Free Trade LPG cylinders has increased by Rs 12.
This adjustment reflects ongoing fluctuations in fuel costs and could impact businesses reliant on commercial LPG for their operations.
This price hike comes just days ahead of the festive season. The last increase took place on September 1, when oil marketing companies raised the price of 19 kg commercial LPG cylinders by Rs 39. This adjustment followed a price cut on July 1, which aimed to ease costs for businesses and commercial establishments, reducing the price of a 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder by Rs 30.
