Markets Opening: Sensex Jumps Over 300 Points, Nifty At 25,900
Within the Nifty index, several prominent companies, including Wipro, Tech Mahindra, NTPC, Power Grid and Infosys were among the top gainers. On the other hand, Asian Paints, JSW Steel, and Titan were among the top losers.

On Tuesday, the Sensex surged by 308.12 points, reaching 84,607.90 in early trading. Meanwhile, the Nifty climbed 90 points to trade at 25,900.85
Within the Nifty index, several prominent companies, including Wipro, Tech Mahindra, NTPC, Power Grid and Infosys were among the top gainers. On the other hand, Asian Paints, JSW Steel, and Titan were among the top losers.
Anand James, Chief Market Strategist, Geojit Financial Services, said, "We are in for a pause or a pull back aiming 25945, but not much beyond with oscillators in daily charts still allowing continued downsides aiming 25600-24600. However, if we manage a few hours’ trade above 25890, we may be encouraged to incorporate a stronger recovery view in the next few days."
Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) sold equities amounting to Rs 9,791.93 crore and Domestic Institutional Investors (DIIs) purchased equities amounting to Rs 6,645.80 crore respectively on the previous trading day, as indicated by exchange data.
