New Delhi: Heavy rainfall lashed parts of Delhi-NCR on Wednesday afternoon, leaving streets waterlogged and disrupting traffic. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) had issued a yellow alert for the national capital. Several areas in Delhi, Noida, and Gurugram were affected by the rain.

On September 5, the temperature will reach a high of 34 degrees Celsius and a low of 25 degrees Celsius, with generally cloudy skies and light to moderate rain or thunderstorms expected throughout the day. Winds will be from the south at 4 km/h during the morning and increase to the south-southeast at 8 km/h in the afternoon.
September 6 will see a slight drop in temperature to a maximum of 33 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 24 degrees Celsius. Winds will be from the southeast at 12 km/h in the morning, increasing to 16 km/h in the afternoon and decreasing to 12 km/h in the evening. Light rain or thunderstorms are expected, maintaining generally cloudy conditions.
September 7 continues the trend with a high of 33 degrees Celsius and a low of 25 degrees Celsius. Winds will be from the east-southeast at 12 km/h, shifting to the southeast at 12 km/h later in the day and decreasing to 6 km/h in the evening. Light rain or thunderstorms will persist under generally cloudy skies.
On September 12, the weather will turn increasingly cloudy and remain very warm. The trend continues on September 13, with mostly cloudy skies, a morning thunderstorm in some areas, and rain with thunderstorms expected in the afternoon.
Finally, on September 14, expect mostly cloudy conditions with a few thunderstorms throughout the day.
