Kangana Ranaut, renowned actress and BJP candidate from the Mandi Lok Sabha seat in Himachal Pradesh is currently grabbing headlines with her speeches for Lok Sabha Election 2024. Recently, her much-awaited film Emergency got postponed once again.

Emergency postponed due to THIS reason

Earlier today (May 15), the makers of Emergency took to their Instagram handle and made this announcement. Sharing the news, they wrote, "Our hearts are filled with love pouring in for our queen Kangana Ranaut. As she prioritises her duty to the nation and her commitment to serve the country, the release date of our much-awaited film Emergency has been postponed. We promise to update you soon with a new release date. Thank you for your continued support."

For the unversed, Kangana Ranaut's directorial venture Emergency has faced its third postponement. Initially slated for release in October 2023, Kangana Ranaut's film was rescheduled to November 24, 2023, to steer clear of a clash with Tiger Shroff and Kriti Sanon's Ganpath. Subsequently, its release date was deferred again to June 14, 2024. But, now we've to wait for the official confirmation.

Emergency marks Kangana Ranaut's first solo directorial project. The film revolves around the life of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi and features Kangana in the titular role of the late politician.
Apart from Kangana, the film features Anupam Kher, Mahima Chaudhry, Vishak Nair and Shreyas Talpade in pivotal roles. The official release date of the film is still awaited. She was last seen in director Sarwesh Mewara's Tejas in which she portrayed the role of an Indian Air Force pilot. The film didn't work at the box office and failed to impress the audience.
