The Ajay Devgn starrer Maidaan has been struggling at the box office since it hit the theatres more than a week ago. The movie had a drop in its earnings after opening with Rs 4.50 crore on the first day and making Rs 2.75 crore on the second. Over the weekend, there is always an increase in earnings witnessing a 109.09 per cent increase on the first Saturday and an 11.30 per cent increase on the first Sunday. According to early estimates, the sports drama Maidaan earned Rs 1.40 crores on April 19, Friday standing at a total of Rs 29.75 crores. The movie had an overall Hindi occupancy of 12.17 per cent on Friday. The audience turnover rate was 6.66 per cent for the morning shows, 10.19 per cent for the afternoon shows, 13.10 per cent for the evening shows and 18.71 per cent for the night shows.
