Renuka Swamy Murder Case: Kannada Bigg Boss Winner Pratham Files Complaint Over Threat Calls!

Pratham, the winner of one of the seasons of the Kannada version of the popular TV reality show, Bigg Boss, has lodged a complaint with the Bengaluru police, citing threatening calls he has been receiving off late. The actor has been receiving threats following some comments he made regarding some people who had gathered in front of the police station claiming to be Darshan’s fans.

Winner of the Kannada version of Bigg Boss reality show, Pratham, has filed a complaint with the Bengaluru police, saying he has been receiving threatening calls ever since he made certain comments in connection with a case in which actor Darshan has been detained. Pratham’s second directorial, Karnatakada Aliya, is soon to be released.

Pratham Reacts

When asked for his reaction on Renuka Swamy case, in which actor Darshan has been detained along with several others, actor and director Pratham had expressed his condolences to Renuka Swamy’s family and had also urged everyone to financially support the family of the victim. He said that he too would give his earnings from the next three shows of his upcoming film to Renuka Swamy’s family.
When commenting about some individuals, who claimed to be fans of Darshan, gathering in front of a police station, Pratham had said that he be temporarily made a police constable.
“If permitted, I wish to be a police constable so that I can disperse everyone who has gathered in front of the police station…,” Pratham had reportedly said. This is believed to have irked a section of Darshan’s die-hard fans.
However, Pratham went on to share the complete conversation, his reaction to Darshan’s case and sought to know if anyone was hurt by his comments. He even said that he was ready to correct himself if there was anything wrong in what he had commented.

Files Complaints

However, on Wednesday, Pratham took to his social media timeline to share the news that he had filed a complaint with the police.
Referring to ‘fanatics’, the actor and director wrote, “Life is big, do not waste it for others. I was silent but when you started relentlessly making threat calls to the office number of my Karnatakada Aliya film team… Henceforth, all such calls, and messages on social media will be dealt with by the police. Life is beautiful, dedicate it to your parents.”
