Following the huge success of Sanju Weds Geetha, starring Srinagara Kitty and Ramya, director Nagshekar is back with a sequel to the film. Currently under production, the director is filming one of the songs performed by noted singer Mangli. The song features the lead actors Srinagara Kitty and Rachita Ram along with Ragini Dwivedi.

Released in 2011, the Kannada film Sanju Weds Geetha was a runaway hit. It featured actor Srinagara Kitty and actor-turned-politician Ramya in the lead. In fact, the film proved to be a certain milestone in the actress' career.
Now, the team is back with a sequel after a gap of 13 years. This time, however, it is Rachita Ram who plays the female lead in the sequel.
The latest about the film is that director Nagashekar has filmed one of the songs in the film. The song has been rendered by noted singer Mangli and features Srinagara Kitty, Rachita Ram and the beautiful Ragini Dwivedi.

The Party Song

Recently, a party song celebrating the wedding anniversary of the characters Sanju and Geetha was shot at the glass house of BGS High School, Kumbalgodu in Bengaluru. The song features Ragini Dwivedi alongside the lead actors of the film, with 200 to 250 other dancers also participating in it. Renowned singer Mangli has sung the number and Bajrangi Mohan has choreographed for it.

A major portion of the shoot has been wrapped up and only patchwork pertaining to two fight scenes and one song remain to be shot. The story revolves around the struggle of two people who strive for better prices for silk yarn.

Shot In Switzerland

The makers also shared that editing was being simultaneously carried out and that dubbing was in its final stages. A significant portion of the film was shot over 15 days in Switzerland across 11 locations. Additionally, a song was also filmed for over five days at UB Stead Farm in Kunigal at a cost of Rs. 50 lakhs. Nagshekar said that songs had been given as much importance as the talkie portions in the film to give it a rich and vibrant look.
Made under Pavitra International Moviemakers, the sequel is being produced by Chalavadi Kumar.
The album, composed by Sridhara V. Sambharam, includes five songs featuring singers Sonu Nigam, Shreya Ghoshal, and Mangli. The film will be released worldwide by A 24 Creations through Gokul Films.
