The versatile Vasishta N Simha, an actor and singer, made his debut with the commercially successful film Rajahuli. His role as Jagga opposite Rocking Star Yash was appreciated and since then he has been on a roll. The latest buzz relating to the actor is from his brand-new Telugu film titled Yevam. The film team has released his character poster, revealing that he will be playing the role of Yugandhar in the cop drama.

Juggling Between Kannada And Telugu

After a series of Kannada films, Vasishta N Simha first made his debut in Telugu with the film Narappa, featuring Venkatesh, Priyamani, Karthik Rathnam and himself in the lead. He played the role of Shavkar Shankaraiah. Though the film directed by Srikanth Addala was initially slated for theatrical release, the delay caused due to COVID-19 lockdowns eventually forced the makers to release it on OTT.
Vasishta followed Narappa with Nayeem Diaries. He then made a cameo appearance as Kamal in the KGF series. After another successful film in Telugu, Odela Railway Station, he returns in its sequel Odela 2, which starred Tamannaah Bhatia. The actor, who married popular Kannada actress Haripriya in January 2023, recently wrapped up the shooting of big budget Kannada film, Love Li, in London. Vasishta is now awaiting the release of Prabhu Deva's Wolf, Devil in Telugu, and Bhairathi Ranagal in Kannada.

Yevam, The Cop-Drama

Actress Chandini Chowdhary plays the female police officer's role in Yevam, directed by Prakash Dantuluri of Om Shanti fame.
Along with Vasishta N Simha, the film also stars Bharat Raj, and Ashu Reddy in prominent roles. Vishweshwar SV is the cinematographer, and Srujana Adusumill is the editor. Music for the film has been composed by Keerthana Sesh. Yevam is jointly produced by Navdeep and Pavan Kishore Goparaju.
