The cast of K-drama Hierarchy had its own process to get into the skin of the characters. In an audition tape released by Netflix, we get to see its lead cast Roh Jeong-Eui, Lee Chae-Min, Kim Jae-Won, Ji Hye-Won and Lee Won-Jung speaking on how they see their parts.
The unfiltered video from the audition room shows the actors in their deglam avatars, in a freewheeling chat about their early dreams when they got into acting. All the five actors are mostly newbies, having made appearances in some shows here and there. Hierarchy is their major project that has given them recognition.
In the video, Jeong-Eui, who plays Jung Jae-I in the web show, shared she always wanted to do a romance drama. Though Hierarchy is not a hardcore romance, she was happy and tad nervous too. Chae-Min on the other hand, has done shows like High Class, Love All Play, Crash Course in Romance and See You in My 19th Life. Recalling how he was into studies before becoming an actor, he said talking about his aspirations made him awkward. Chae-Min plays Kang Ha in Hierarchy.
Jae-Won, who dons the role of Kim Ri-an, a rich brat in the show, jokingly said it gave him a chance to play a cheobol. A self-proclaimed extrovert, he also shared that he wanted to become a professional fencer. Jae-Won is known for his previous appearances in King the Land, Our Blues and Stealer: The Treasure Keeper.

While Won-jung, who plays Lee Woo-Jin wanted to know when the filming of the show will commence as he wanted to "get in shape", actor Hye-won who plays Yoon He-Ra explained how she was not honest with her emotions in real life but liked observing people. This helped her play characters opposite to her. Her He-Ra received a lot of fan love.
Hierarchy is a teen revenge drama that received mixed reviews recently. The Netflix show is reportedly inspired by Spanish hit Elite.
