The 32-year-old might be yet to announce his next project, but his recent cameo in epusode 4 of No Gain No Love that released on September 3 was enough to make the audience miss him more. Keeping up with the excitement, the makers of the show played smart and brought him back on its screen in its episode 8, though not the way fans expected.

In the latest episode of No Gain No Love which was released on Tuesday, lead actress Shin Min-a who plays Son Hae-yeong is seen watching television. While nothing seems extraordinary about the sequence that also featured male lead Kim Young-dae (Kim Ji-wook), fans were quick to notice that the show Min-a is watching on TV happens to be Lovely Runner. The scene in focus is where Ryu Sun-jae (Byeon Woo-Seok) is being forcefully protected by Im Sol (Kim Hye-yoon), and in the chaos, she ends up putting her finger inside his nose.

Fans of No Gain No Love and Byeon Woo-Seok started posting snippets of the particular scene, taking a jibe at how the show got Woo-Seok in a second cameo, but this time as his Lovely Runner character. While a fan wrote, "Lovely Runner you will always be famous", another one said, "kinda make sense since both those two shows started shooting back last year [2023]"

Following the mega success of Lovely Runner, fans of Woo-Seok are awaiting his return to the screens in a central role with bated breath. The breakout Korean star of the year in episode 4 of No Gain No Love, had played a small role of a convenience store night shift staff who replaces Ji-wook when the latter absconds following his fake wedding with Hae-yeong.
The actor reportedly agreed to guest star in it due to his relationship with director Kim Jung Sik, with whom he has previously worked in Strong Girl Nam Soon last year.
While Lovely Runner is streaming on Netflix and Viki Rakuten, No Gain No Love took to Prime Video.
