Former BIGBANG member Seungri has addressed rumours about his attendance at a 'Burning Sun' event in Indonesia. The ex K-pop idol also apologized for 'using' BIGBANG's name following his release from prison.
Seungri denies appearance at Burning Sun event in Indonesia
As rumours about him attending an event in Indonesia grew, Seungri issued a clarification. In an interview with Daily Sports, the former BIGBANG star quashed rumours about his alleged appearance at a 'Burning Sun' event in Indonesia. "I don’t even know where the Indonesian city mentioned is. I'm so perplexed that something that’s not true has come to this. It’s so obviously ridiculous." Seungri hinted at plans to take strong action against the event organizers on the charges of infringement of portrait rights and defamation.For the unversed, on August 8, an Indonesian event management company TSV Management announced that they will be hosting an exclusive event called Burning Sun Surabaya. Rumours about Burning Sun convict Seungri attending the event, that is scheduled to take place on August 31, as a special guest had surfaced online.

The former K-pop idol also clarified rumours about him being invited to a party in Cambodian party and visiting Hong Kong for business. Regarding the party in Cambodia, Seungri said, "I visited because an acquaintance opened a beer pub. It wasn’t like someone had paid me to invite them to an event."
He also went on to apologize for the using G-Dragon and BIGBANG's name at the party. "I was so drunk on the atmosphere that I unintentionally mentioned the names of the former members, but I didn’t behave well. It was the wrong thing to do, and it won’t happen again." As of now, Seungri has no intentions of doing any club-related business and plans to stay away from the spotlight.
