According to industry sources, Joju George will be making his Bollywood debut in a film that will be directed by maverick filmmaker Anurag Kashyap. Based on reveals made from the director's camp, we have information that Joju will be playing an important role in the yet-to-be-titled film that has Bollywood actor Bobby Deol in the primary role will also star Sanya Malhotra (Jawan, Kathal, Dangal), and actor-musician Saba Azad, who garnered much praise for her role in the hit web series Rocket Boys recently.

The film promises to explore important issues in director Anurag Kashyap’s signature raw and unflinching style. The script for the film has been written by Sudip Sharma, known for NH10, Udta Punjab, Paatal Lok, and Kohrra, along with Abhishek Banerjee, who wrote the script for Anushka Sharma’s horror film Pari in 2018.The production, helmed by Nikhil Dwivedi, will see scriptwriting duties shared by Sudip Sharma and Abhishek Banerjee. Filming began on May 14 in Mumbai and is expected to be completed by June 2024. The film is slated for a theatrical release later this year.
