Director Vijay Milton’s upcoming action entertainer Mazhai Pidikkatha Manithan, which means The Man Who Dislikes Rain, has finally entered its last leg of post production and will hit screens soon.

Teaser To Release On May 29

Sources close to the unit of the film say that the makers of the film are gearing up to kickstart promotions for the film. In fact, the unit plans to release a teaser on May 29.
Starring Vijay Antony and Sarath Kumar in the lead, the film boasts of an ensemble cast and is the most ambitious film from Cinematographer and Director Vijay Milton, who is known for his well-made, commercially successful films Goli Soda, 10 Endrathukulle and Kadugu.
Apart from Vijay Antony and Sarath Kumar, the film will also feature popular Kannada Hero ‘Daali’ Dhananjaya, Megha Akash, Murali Sharma, Pruthvi Amber, Saranya Ponvannan, ‘Thalaivaasal’ Vijay, AL. Alagappan, Director Ramana (of Thirumalai fame) among others. Sources also say that Sathyaraj will make a small but significant role in the film.

Sources say that the story is about how a nobody with a past enters a new island and becomes somebody’s future through his care and kindness for fellow human beings.
The film was shot extensively in Andaman Islands, Die-Daman islands and in many other cities.
Music for the film has been scored by Achu Rajamani and the film’s hero Vijay Antony as well. The film has editing by National Award winning editor K L Praveen. The film is titled Toofan in Telugu and will release simultaneously in both Tamil and Telugu.
