Here’s what Sekhar Kammula has to say about Dhanush, Nagarjuna's Kubera

Sekhar Kammula is known for his versatility. Each film of is, is a total contrast to his earlier ones in terms of genre and storyline. The director is presently helming a bilingual multi-starrer called Kubera featuring actors Dhanush and Nagarjuna.
Ever since Kubera was announced, there have been a lot of expectations from fans and film buffs, particularly after Dhanush's first look from the film was released.

Recently, when Sekhar was asked about casting Dhanush and Nagarjuna in his upcoming multi-starrer Kubera, the director expressed happiness working with the two stars.
“Both the actors are performers and they fit the bill aptly. The film is being mounted on a large scale and the film’s story idea is itself big,” said Sekhar while being tight-lipped about the plotline. “Kubera will touch on an interesting topic on philosophy, and I can’t talk more about the plot,” he added.

Sekhar Kammula completes 25 years in cinema

Sekhar, who made his directorial debut with Dollar Dreams in 2000, has now completed 25 years in cinema. When asked how his journey has been, the filmmaker replied that he feels proud, looking back.
“I feel glad because I have made films with values and principles and (ones that do) not propagate violence. I didn't enter the film industry for fame and money but have made films out of passion and with a lot of conviction,” said the director.
When further asked whether he would make a sequel to his 2010 directorial Leader, starring Rana Daggubati, Sekhar sounded optimistic.
“Making a sequel to the Leader is definitely on my mind but I am not finding enough time. But I shall do it with Rana again if at all I have to do the film,” he elucidated.
