Mr Bachchan Censor: Replace Amitabh Bachchan-Rekha Photo With Big B-Jaya, Board Officials To Filmmakers

The stage is set for one of the most anticipated films, Ravi Teja’蝉 Mr Bachchan which is set to release on August 15 - in a few hours from now. Meanwhile, a report is doing the rounds on social media that is reportedly about certain changes suggested by the censor board. Mr Bachchan recently underwent censor certification, and the officials have reportedly suggested a few changes in the Harish Shankar directorial.

According to reports, there is a poster that shows Amitabh Bachchan and Rekha during the rolling credits. The CBFC apparently asked Mr. Bachchan filmmakers to replace it with a poster of the actor and his wife Jaya Bachchan. However, we couldn’t validate the context during which the above poster was displayed. Also, CBFC suggested a changes like putting up a disclaimer that the film is a fictional narrative and doesn’t have any resemblance to anyone. Cuss words and abuses have also been muted.

Recently, the cast and crew of Mr Bachchan team was in full attendance at the film’蝉 pre-release event held in Kurnool. Speaking on the occasion, Ravi Teja described Harish Shankar as a very hard-working director. Ravi Teja also shared that he would like to collaborate with Harish Shankar for the third time for a hattrick since their first outing Shock was a disappointment.

Director Harish Shankar expressed his gratitude to his writing and screenplay team. He added that his team has been very instrumental in shaping this film. He also thanked Ravi Teja for giving him the opportunities. “I cannot imagine my film career without Ravi Teja.”
