All the stars aligned and came together – Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Deepika Padukone and Prabhas – at the pre-release event of Kalki 2898 AD in Mumbai on Wednesday night. While all the actors described their experience of working in the Nag Ashwin directorial, the event was not short of some fun banter.

Amitabh Bachchan And Prabhas’s Funny Banter

Daggubati Rana hosted the event. He asked Prabhas to describe his experience of working with the two legends like Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan. Rana went on to ask about "What you guys did on the sets." Amitabh interfered and said, “We used to touch each other’s feet.” When Rana defended Prabhas saying that he was an introvert, Amitabh asked, “What’s wrong in touching Prabhas’s feet.,” making everyone present to burst into laughter.
Prabhas said that he wanted to thank producer Aswini Dutt and director Nag Ashwin for giving him the opportunity to work with the two legends (Amitabh and Kamal). Talking about his work experience, Prabhas said, “When I first met Amitabh Sir, I touched his feet. He then said, ‘Don’t do it…if you do, then I’ll do it.’ I said, ‘Sir…I can’t even think of it.’”

Prabhas Said He Grew Up Watching Big B's films

In his speech, Prabhas revealed that he grew up watching Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan’s films and that it was a dream to work with them. “My uncle (late Krishnam Raju) had Amitabh Sir’s hairstyle, and he’s the first actor to have a reach across the country. Anyone who is tall will be called Amitabh Bachchan (smiles). We also saw Kamal Sir’s Sagar Sangamam and we wanted to have his costumes, we saw Indrudu Chandrudu and emulated his tummy…and I am working with them. This is unbelievable,” said Prabhas.
