Nia Sharma, who is all set to make her comeback on TV after four years with the show, Suhagan Chudail, said that taking a break was not her conscious decision. The actress confessed that she feels privileged to take a break after gaining popularity in the industry. For those who’ve come in late, she was last seen in Naagin 4.

Nia Sharma on taking break from TV

Nia Sharma explained why she was not worried about having no work in the TV industry for four years. It has to be noted that she did reality shows but didn't work in daily soaps. In an interview with Hindustan Times, the actress said, “I also happened to ask myself why I sat for so long when there were offers coming to me left, right and centre. I wasn’t begging for work. I could afford to take this break and just sit back and relax, and find a project that would suit me. I was okay with this phase, I am not someone who is afraid of fading away.”
Nia also revealed that she was approached for many shows. However, she denied many, as she wanted to do something interesting. Sharma revealed that she would sit and chill at home. She said, “It wasn’t my conscious decision, but we are in a volatile field where we wouldn’t know what is going to happen next.”
