The fourth season of the series Only Murders in the Building will focus on solving the murder of Sazz Pataki. The main characters, Charles-Hayden Savage (Steve Martin), Oliver Putnam (Martin Short) and Mabel Mora (Selena Gomez), have a lot going on in their lives. The new season starts on August 27 on Disney+ Hotstar.

The full trailer for the movie adaptation of Only Murders in the Building is out. The actors playing Mabel, Charles, and Oliver (Eva Longoria, Eugene Levy, and Zack Galifianakis) get to know the characters better. Melissa McCarthy is revealed to play Charles' sister. The trailer also shows Richard Kind and Kumail Nanjiani as suspicious suspects.

After the surprising events at the end of Season 3, Charles, Oliver, and Mabel try to figure out who was meant to be killed - Charles or his stunt double, Sazz Pataki. They go to Los Angeles to investigate, where a movie about their true crime podcast is being made. The amateur detectives rush back to New York and start investigating the strange lives of their neighbors in the West Tower of their apartment building, exploring the secrets and mysteries that lie close to home.

New cast joins Martin, Short and Gomez

The show is bringing back familiar faces like Meryl Streep, Michael Cyril Creighton, and Da'Vine Joy Randolph, and also adding new stars like Eugene Levy, Eva Longoria, Zach Galifianakis, Melissa McCarthy, Molly Shannon, Kumail Nanjiani and Richard Kind to the cast.

The TV show, created by Steve Martin and John Hoffman, got a record 21 Emmy nominations, including Best Comedy Series, and acting nods for its main stars, Steve Martin, Martin Short, Selena Gomez, and Meryl Streep. The new season, called the "starriest season yet", will premiere on Disney+ Hotstar this summer, featuring the original detectives and other familiar characters from their apartment building.
