Two coaches derailed, passengers safe
Jabalpur: Two coaches of the Indore- Jabalpur Overnight Express derailed in Madhya Pradesh's Jabalpur on Saturday. The incident took around 5:50 am on Saturday morning. The train was coming from Indore and was headed to platform number 6 of Jabalpur railway station when the incident happened. and no casualties have been reported.
"The train was coming from Indore. When it was heading towards Jabalpur railway station's platform number 6, the train was moving slowly and 2 coaches derailed. All passengers are safe. The incident took place around 5.50 am. It derailed around 150 metres from the platform," said Harshit Shrivastava, CPRO, West Central Railways.
The passengers are safe and no injuries have been reported so far. The cause of derailment is yet to be ascertained.
