Step 1: Double cleanse to let your skin breathe
The number one mantra for keeping your skin healthy in monsoons is to Keep it clean! Double-cleanse your face to clear away the dirt, grime, and sweat from your pores that have accumulated due to humidity. Use a cleansing balm to remove all traces of excess sebum from your skin. Follow up with a foaming facial cleanser to get squeaky clean, smooth, and glowing skin.
Step 2: Use face masks to exfoliate
Getting caught amidst a torrential downpour can surely give you all the filmy feels but remember, rainwater can spell disaster for your skin, especially when mixed with dead cells, sebum, or sweat. Since blocked and enlarged pores are totally BFFS with acne, make sure you are exfoliating once a week to buff away the dead cells, gunk, and skin drama.
