Ingredients
  • 1 ? cup sorghum flour
  • 3 tbsp gram flour
  • 2 tbsp whole wheat flour
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh coriander leaves
  • 1 small tomato
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • ? tsp turmeric powder
  • ? tsp sugar
  • ? tsp red chilli powder
  • ? tsp cumin powder
  • ? tsp sugar
  • Pinch of baking soda
  • Oil
Method
Step 1: In a mixing bowl, add sorghum flour, whole wheat flour, coriander powder, chilli powder, baking soda, coriander leaves, onion, tomato and green chillies. Add water and mix until you get a smooth batter.
Step 2: In a non-stick pan, pour a ladleful of batter and spread in a clockwise direction. Drizzle oil along the sides of chilla and cook covered for 3-4 minutes. Flip and cook both sides until golden brown.
Step 3: Slide jowar chilla onto the serving plate, serve hot with with tomato ketchup and enjoy.
