Kate Middleton Might Appear On Balcony Of Buckingham Palace For Trooping The Colour Ceremony

The Princess of Wales may return for King Charles's birthday parade on June 15. Despite being absent from public life in 2024, including missing the Trooping the Colour rehearsal, she hinted at a surprise appearance. If it happens, it will be one of the biggest news stories of the year.

Kate Middleton's absence from public life has been the biggest mystery of 2024. But, for those who have missed the presence of the Princess of Wales, there is some good news — Kate has hinted at a possible return to public life this weekend as King Charles ramps up his return to work with the announcement of a major event.
Reportedly, she may be “considering” a surprise appearance at the King’s annual birthday parade on Saturday, 15 June.
This comes as a surprise after Kensington Palace announced in late May that the Princess of Wales will skip the traditional rehearsal for the King’s Birthday Parade - Trooping the Colour ceremony- as she has been undergoing preventative chemotherapy. Kate is the honorary Colonel of the Irish Guards and wrote her apologies in a personal letter, “Being your colonel remains a great honour and I am very sorry that I’m unable to take the salute at this year’s Colonel’s Review. Please pass my apologies to the whole Regiment, however, I do hope that I am able to represent you all once again very soon. Please send my very best wishes and good luck to all involved.”
Trooping the Colour is a yearly formal State Ceremonial Parade in honour of the official birthday of the British Sovereign. The ceremony concludes with the King joining his family on the balcony of Buckingham Palace where they watch a fly-past performed by the Royal Air Force.
Kate was last seen in public during the Christmas morning service on December 25, 2023, when she had participated in the annual walk to Sandringham Church with her husband, Prince William and their three children - George, Charlotte, and Louis.
