Delhi Boy Released From Juvenile Home a Month Ago, Kills Another Teen; Arrested

New Delhi: A 17-year-old boy, who got out of a juvenile home just a month ago, was arrested on Saturday. The police say he's suspected of killing another teenager in the Aman Vihar area.
The police said that on Friday evening, a person named Akash was reportedly stabbed to death by the accused in Aman Vihar while he was visiting a friend. The accused teenager was caught in Sonipat, Haryana, and brought back to Delhi. According to officials, the accused killed Akash as an act of revenge, claiming that Akash and his friend had previously attacked him, as per PTI report.
The accused has a history of trouble with the law. Six criminal cases, involving robbery, cheating, and assault, were previously filed against him at the Prem Nagar and Aman Vihar police stations. In one of these cases, he was sent to a juvenile home and was released just a month ago, as per the police.
In another incident, a 16-year-old girl named Shakshi was reportedly stabbed to death outside her home in Delhi on Sunday. The incident was recorded on a camera, and the video was shared a lot on social media. It is said that Sahil, the accused, stabbed Shakshi around 20 times in the Shahbad Dairy area of Rohini. Her body was discovered on the street.
The CCTV video shows the accused man stabbing the girl many times. He later used a concrete block to hit her face while people passing by witnessed the horrifying attack. The accused and the victim were supposedly in a relationship. Reports suggest that Shakshi was heading to her friend's son's birthday party when Sahil unexpectedly approached and started stabbing her. The day before the incident, the two had a heated argument.
