Kolkata: Police were alerted on Tuesday at approximately 2:50 PM regarding a distressing discovery. An unidentified female head was found inside the old abandoned CISF barrack situated on the eastern side of Satya Doctor Road, behind Balaka Club. The location is identified by the address 5A, Sasthitala Road, Kolkata - 23.
Upon inquiry at the location, it was discovered that there were three black polythene bags containing mutilated body parts. A team from the Homicide division and a dog squad has visited the spot.
The woman remains unidentified at present. Initial observations suggest she may be a Hindu married woman aged around 30 to 35 years, as she was found with a bindi on her forehead. Further investigation is underway.
