IND VS AUS, India Banam Australia 2nd ODI Highlights: The second ODI of the ongoing three-match series between India and Australia is taking place at the Holkar Cricket Stadium in Indore on Sunday (September 25). India won the match by defeating Australia by 99 runs (DLS method) to clinch the series 2-0. Earlier India posted a massive target of 400 runs. Shubman Gill and Shreyas Iyer made a 200-run partnership for the 2nd wicket and both the players completed their centuries. After that KL Rahul scored a half-century, but Suryakumar Yadav stole the limelight with his blistering knock of 72 from 37 balls. In the second inning Prasidh Krishna took the early breakthrough and later spin duo of Jadeja and Ashwin picked up three wickets each. It was a clinical performance from India as they were without their key players Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli & Hardik Pandya who have been rested for the 1st and 2nd ODI.

The match took place at the Holkar Cricket Stadium in Indore. India won the first ODI, which was played in Mohali on Friday, by five wickets. In this match, Steve Smith won the toss and elected to bat first and India posted a score of 399 runs in front of the kangaroos and set a target of 400 runs with the help of centuries from Shubman Gill and Shreyas Iyer and SKY's blistering knock in the end. It was also India's highest total against Australia in ODI. India made a great start with Prasidh Krishna taking two early wickets of Short and Smith and then Ravichandran Ashwin picked three wickets in two overs. Jadeja also picked up three wickets and India won the game by 99 wickets by DLS method to clinch the three-match series by 2-0.
