Shubman Gill and Shreyas Iyer made a 200-run partnership for the 2nd wicket and both the players completed their centuries. After that KL Rahul scored a half-century, but Suryakumar Yadav stole the limelight with his blistering knock of 72 from 37 balls. In the second inning Prasidh Krishna took the early breakthrough and later spin duo of Jadeja and Ashwin picked up three wickets each. It was a clinical performance from India as they were without their key players Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli & Hardik Pandya who have been rested for the 1st and 2nd ODI.
