India are all set to take on Bangladesh in a two-match Test Series, with the first match being played from September 19 at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. This will be the first of a series of 10 Test Matches that India will play till early January in order to secure their place in the final of the World Test Championship for the third consecutive time in 2025. This will also be the first red-ball assignment for Gautam Gambhir since he was appointed as the new head coach of the Indian team.
IND Vs BAN 1st Test Win Prediction
India are a much better side as compared to Bangladesh as they stand no.1 in the WTC table at the moment. Hence, even though Bangladesh are a competitive side, the Indian team are too strong in all departments and are favourites to win the match.
Bangladesh are coming into the series on a high having become the first Asian team to whitewash Pakistan at home in the history of Test match cricket. Hence, they are no pushovers, especially with some quality spinners who can make full use of the spin-friendly conditions.
However, India are the favourites to win this match.
