Kylian Mbappe's Astonishing Salary Revealed, Real Madrid Star Dwarfs Virat Kohli & Rohit Sharma's IPL Salary

Kylian Mbappe’s arrival at Real Madrid has set the buzz for the upcoming season. The French superstar signed on a free transfer from Paris Saint-Germain this summer.
The 25 year old put pen to paper on a five-year contract with the Spanish giants and will be seen donning the iconic white jersey in the upcoming season. The French football captain decided not to extend his stay in the French capital and took a pay cut to join Los Blancos.
Despite trimming down his earlier pay package, Mbappe still stands to earn a whopping 285 crores per season, a lot more than what Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma earn in the Indian Premier League.
If we roughly estimate, Mbappe’s monthly salary would be around Rs 23.7 crore, Rs 79 lakh daily and a staggering Rs 5,486 in just one minute.
Both Virat and Rohit are top earners as per BCCI’s Central Contract and take home to the tune of more than 7 crore per year. Both the Indian players were also retained by their respective IPL franchises Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Mumbai Indians. Virat’s IPL salary is around 17 crore for a season while Rohit draws 16 crore wage.
Both these stalwarts are believed to be one of the highest-paid players in cricket but their combined wages proved to be a peanut in comparison with Mbappe’s Real Madrid salary. The French forward also has been handed the No. 9 jersey by the club ahead of the upcoming campaign.
Los Blancos manager Carlo Ancelotti will have a selection headache as the likes of Rodrygo, Mbappe, Vinicius Junior and Endrick will vie for positions across the front three. Mbappe had a quiet UEFA Euro 2024 and he will be hoping to hit the ground running from the very first day of the season.
