Brady will be beginning his 'rookie year' as an NFL broadcaster, after penning a mammoth deal with Fox. The legendary football icon has signed a 10-year deal with the renowned broadcasting company worth $375 million. Tom Brady takes over from Greg Olsen, another NFL legend turned commentator.
The legendary NFL figure will be making his broadcasting debut during the Cowboys vs Browns fixture on 8 September at 4:25 p.m. EST. Brady will be joined in the commentary team by fellow announcer Kevin Burkhardt.
Speaking on his broadcasting bow, Tom Brady stated in an interview that he hopes to show the fans his love for football.
"How do I understand the mechanics of broadcasting and network television? As I've kind of worked my way through that process, it has come back to just be myself. To clearly see what I see on the field. And then what people hopefully will see is my love of the game," he stated.
During his playing career, Brady was 7-1 against the Cowboys over his 23 seasons and the only defeat he sustained came in the 2022 NFC wild-card, but the legendary footballer will be happy to call the game of his former rivals.
"I've obviously been going against them for a long time now. Now I get to tell everyone how great they are," Tom Brady said. After officially retiring from the NFL in early 2023, and since then he has been looking to become the minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders.
The seven-time Super Bowl winner has appeared in the Super Bowl a record ten times and he has been adjudged the Super Bowl MVP five times.
