KEY HIGHLIGHTS
  • Roman Reigns has been away from WWE since Wrestlemania 40
  • He is likely to make his return soon
  • Solo Sikoa has formed his Bloodline in Roman's absence
Roman Reigns' absence from WWE has been a boon for Solo Sikoa and he has formed his own Bloodline. The former North American champion has stepped up in Roman's absence and has been joined by Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa. Paul Heyman, reluctantly, continues to be part of this Bloodline too and Solo's Bloodline could end up facing the old Bloodline, which was headed by the Tribal Chief.
As the fans wait for Roman's return, WWE legend Rikishi has shared his take and predicted a match between Roman and Solo. As per Rikishi, who is the father of Solo and The Usos, the head of the new Bloodline will stand his ground upon Roman's return, leading to a match between them.
"I almost see Roman coming in and Solo standing his ground, because that could be something with the outstanding performance of Solo holding it down since Roman is out of the picture. He's been doing a very good job of building his brand and holding that part of The Bloodline. I guess they call it Bloodline 2.0," Rikishi said no his podcast, Rikishi Fatu Off The Top.
"'I am always thinking about what the fans would like to see. If fans want to see it, that definitely makes money. We all know Solo was the kind of The Enforcer for Roman, and how good would it be to see that even if it's just for one match? It could be at SummerSlam or at a big event."
Roman has been absent from WWE TV since Wrestlemania 40, where he lost the Undisputed WWE Championship to Cody Rhodes. Solo helped Roman during the title match but that didn't prove to be enough.
WWE needs a solid reason for Solo to betray Roman as he was in the Tribal Chief's corner at the biggest show of the year. Jey Uso is part of Raw while Jimmy Uso has been off TV for a long time.
The WWE Universe is waiting for Roman to make his WWE return. It is all but confirmed that Roman will be part of a storyline involving Solo when he returns to WWE.
The future WWE Hall of Famer also has unfinished business with Seth Rollins, whom he attacked during the main event of Wrestlemania 40. Rollins has also been off TV since Wrestlemania due to a knee injury. He isn't expected to make his return before Royal Rumble 2025.
