A heartwarming video of a toddler's playful interaction with a tiger is going viral on the internet. The clip, reportedly filmed at a zoo in Huzhou, Zhejiang, eastern China, shows a curious toddler innocently "paw-punching" at the glass of the tiger’s enclosure. Surprisingly, the tiger responds in kind, playfully tapping the glass back.
Figer shared the viral video on X (formerly Twitter), captioning it “Battle of the hands.” In the video, the toddler seems unaware that he's facing a fierce predator, with only a thin sheet of glass separating them. The tiger, however, appears to be in a playful mood, responding to the child's punches in a similarly gentle manner.
The clip has garnered around 12 million views and numerous comments from users charmed by the unlikely exchange.
One user commented, "I'm almost believing that the tiger was playing too." Another remarked, "Game of cute hands really." A third added, "Oh, that's cute. Look at the response of the tiger. Love it."
