Mahindra XUV 3XO is ready to find its home in India, as the homegrown auto manufacturer has started taking bookings for the upcoming SUV. Launched on April 29, the SUV comes priced at Rs 7.49 lakh (ex-showroom) and will be available for booking today, May 15 onwards. Meanwhile, the deliveries of the new sub-4m SUV will commence on May 26. It is to be noted that the most expensive variant of the competitively priced vehicle comes at Rs 15.49 lakh (ex-showroom) for Indian consumers.
The Mahindra XUV 3XO is the successor of the XUV300 in the Indian market and sports a completely new design. This is visible in the form of a new front fascia with new headlamps, grille, and more. Furthermore, the rear end of the car sports new tail lights and bumpers among other things. This design is complemented by different paint options like Citrine Yellow, Deep Forest, Everest White, Stealth Black, Galaxy Grey, Nebula Blue, Dune Beige, and Tango Red.
The SUV is available in nine trim levels in the Indian market- M1, M2, M2 Pro, M3, M3 Pro, AX5, AX5 Luxury, AX7, and AX7 Luxury. These different trim levels are loaded with features like two-zone climate control, Level 2 ADAS, adaptive cruise control, auto emergency braking, forward collision warning, traffic sign recognition, high beam assist, lane keep assist, lane departure warning, 360-degree camera, and more.
The Mahindra XUV 3OO is offered with three engine options. These include a 1.2 L mStallion TCMPFi turbo petrol engine producing 110 bhp and 200 Nm of torque, a 1.2 L mStallion TGDi turbo petrol engine producing 128.73 bhp and 230 Nm of torque, and a 1.5 L CRDe turbo diesel engine producing 115.05 bhp and 300 Nm of torque. The transmission options consist of a 6-speed MT, a 6-speed AutoSHIFT+, and the 3rd-gen 6-speed AT from AISIN, which is also available in the larger XUV 700.
