Oil and gas retailers announced a revision in the prices of commercial LPG gas cylinders and jet fuel, effective from March 1. The prices of 19 Kg commercial LPG gas cylinders have been increased by Rs 25 across all metros, as per a ET report.

Commercial LPG Price Hike

The retail price of a 19 Kg commercial LPG cylinder in Delhi has been revised to Rs 1795 per cylinder. In Mumbai, the revised price is Rs 1,749. As of March 1, the prices of the 19 kg cylinder have been increased to Rs 1,911 and Rs 1,960.50 in Kolkata and Chennai respectively.
The Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) increased the prices of the 19 kg IndaneGas cylinders to Rs 1,769.50 and Rs 1,887 in Delhi and Kolkata respectively. In Mumbai and Chennai, the cylinders were priced at Rs 1,723.50 and Rs 1,937 each, ET reported.

ATF Price Hike

Aviation Turbine Fuel (ATF) or jet fuel, have been revised across all metros effective from March 1, 2024. In Delhi and Kolkata, ATF prices for domestic airlines have been increased to Rs 1,01,397/Kl and Rs 1,10,297/Kl respectively.

ATF Prices in Mumbai and Chennai

In Mumbai and Chennai, ATF prices for domestic airlines have been revised to Rs 94,809/Kl and Rs 1,05,399/Kl respectively.

ATF Prices for International Runs

ATF prices for domestic airlines on international runs have been revised to $921.4 in Delhi, $959.49 in Kolkata, $919.49 in Mumbai, and $916.49 in Chennai.
Ahead of Budget 2024, the OMCs had reduced ATF prices by Rs 1,221/Kl on February 1.

Monthly Price Revision by IOC, BPCL, and HPCL

State-owned Indian Oil Corporation (IOC), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd (BPCL), and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd (HPCL) revise cooking gas and ATF prices on the 1st of every month, based on the average international price in the previous month, ET reported.
