New Delhi: Whenever you apply for a new ATM card, traditionally, you'd have to visit a branch or the nearest ATM to generate your new ATM PIN. However, now there's a more convenient option available—you can generate your SBI ATM Debit Card PIN anytime and anywhere, online. If you're an SBI Account holder, you have several methods at your disposal to generate a new ATM PIN, such as through the net banking facility or via SMS. Below are the different ways to generate the SBI debit card PIN, also known as Green PIN.

Steps To Generate SBI Debit Card Green PIN Via Internet- Banking:

Step 1: Go to www.onlinesbi.com.
Step 2: Log in to the SBI net banking portal using your username and password.
Step 3: Navigate to the e-Services section and select ATM card services.
Step 4: Choose ATM PIN generation.
Step 5: Select your preferred validation method: One Time Password (OTP) or Profile Password.
Step 6: If you choose the Profile Password option, a new page will open.
Step 7: Enter your profile password and click Submit.
Step 8: You will see a list of all your accounts. Select the one linked to your ATM card and click Continue.
Step 9: On the next page, choose the ATM card number for which you want to change the PIN and Click Submit.
Step 10: A new page will appear where you can enter the first two digits of your desired PIN; the last two digits will be sent to your registered mobile number.
Step 11: Enter your chosen digits and click Submit.
Step 12: After submission, you'll receive the last two digits of your PIN on your registered mobile number.
Step 13: You now have your four-digit PIN. Enter it and click Submit.
Step 14: A new page will confirm that your new ATM PIN has been successfully updated.
How To Generate SBI Debit Card Green PIN Via SMS:
The SBI debit card PIN, also known as Green PIN, can be generated by sending an SMS from the registered mobile number. Send an SMS with the format PIN 0000 1111 (where 0000 represents the last four digits of the debit card number, and 1111 represents the last four digits of the bank account number linked to the debit card) to 567676. Once the SMS is sent, an OTP will be sent to the same number. It's important to note that the OTP will be valid for 2 days and should be used to generate the debit card PIN by visiting any of the SBI ATMs.
