Uttar Pradesh is set for a significant surge in its real estate sector, as the state government announced the launch of projects worth a staggering Rs 50,000 crore. These ambitious ventures was announced during a recent groundbreaking ceremony in Lucknow, extending across key areas including Noida and Ayodhya.
Among the prominent contributors is M3M India Private Limited, investing Rs 7,500 crore in a diverse project encompassing residential, commercial, official, retail, and service apartments. This undertaking is set to generate over 14,000 job opportunities which is a welcome boost for the state's youth.
The luxury real estate took a center stage in Ayodhya, with the House of Abhinandan Lodha spearheading a project valued at Rs 3,000 crore. It is expected to create over 1,000 jobs, this initiative further underscored the transformative impact of these investments on the employment landscape.
The roster of major investors in Uttar Pradesh's real estate sector included industry leaders such as Prateek Retailers India, Wonder Cement, Shipra Estate, Omex, Eureka Builders, Rishita Developers, and many others, according to the official statement.
In addition to the real estate boom, the logistics sector is identified as a significant contributor to job creation. The companies, leveraging the Government of Uttar Pradesh's GBC 4.0 initiative, are set to pave the way for employment opportunities.
A standout in this regard is the Sharaf Group, committing an investment exceeding Rs 1,250 crore to establish a logistics park in Moradabad. This project alone is expected to yield over 1,250 employment opportunities in the state.
With a keen eye on the burgeoning industrial investments, the Uttar Pradesh government has greenlit the Warehousing and Logistics Policy. This strategic move aims to bolster the state's storage capacity, offering expedited land allocation for logistics parks and encouraging the development of logistics zones.
