Arjun Rampal Heaps Praises On Shah Rukh Khan Movies | EXCLUSIVE
Shah Rukh Khan and Arjun Rampal shared a good friendship but things went haywire after Ra.One didn’t do well at the box office. While some said it was creative differences between the actors, some said it was because of some personal issues.
The actors who have also worked in Om Shanti Om never collaborated after Ra.One didn’t do well at the box office and also because of Rampal’s suggestion to Shah Rukh Khan in his personal life irked the actor. However, looks like Arjun Rampal prefers to let go of the past and is currently focusing on the present as he enjoys his ‘monk’ phase.
In a recent interaction with zoOm, Arjun Rampal was asked by us that while everyone’s running the race to be the ‘No. 1’, does it get taxing to stand on top in the industry trying to make a mark for oneself? To which Arjun Rampal responded by saying, “When you say about racing, one thing I’ve learned in this industry over a decade is that a lot of people get happy to see people not succeed. I think that’s a very negative approach to have in life. Because you are never going to grow. I think the most important thing is to feel happy for people who are doing well and be around people who have a positive attitude. If you have that, you are very lucky and you must surround yourself with those kinds of people because then all these things you spoke about will never come or be a part of the conversation anymore. It doesn’t exist, the race doesn’t exist, nothing exists and you’re just happy for the person doing well. When a ‘Pathaan’ goes and breaks the records and then Shah Rukh comes again and does it with Jawan, you feel like it is outstanding, it is fantastic! It is great for the industry. You’ve to acknowledge it, be happy about it and feel proud of Shah Rukh (that person). And whatever happens to your life, good things will happen to you too. And those people will be happy for you too.”
It didn’t stop there, Arjun Rampal also played with us a quiz session wherein we asked him to guess the actor who’s been an attendant at events, while he revealed he has been one he didn’t know Shah Rukh Khan had done the same. Feeling happy about it, the actor also revealed to Vidyut and Nora how in The Hindu College they were being sent for the role of attendants at events.
On the work front, Arjun Rampal is surprising everyone with his high-octane action sequences in Crakk which also features Vidyut Jammwal, Nora Fatehi and Amy Jackson in lead roles.
