Mumbai Police Reviews Salman Khan's Security Amidst Fresh Threats By Gangster Lawrence Bishnoi

Mumbai Police has reviewed security measures for Salman Khan following recent threats from gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. Despite already enjoying Y plus security, the Tiger 3 star's safety protocols are under renewed scrutiny. The Mumbai Police engaged in discussions with the actor to address concerns and further fortify his security arrangements. A senior officer confirmed the security review to eliminate any potential vulnerabilities in the superstar's safety.

Lawrence Bishnoi's recent threat

Lawrence Bishnoi recently claimed responsibility for gunshots fired outside Gippy Grewal's Canada residence. The Mumbai Police discovered a Facebook post where Bishnoi warned Salman, cautioning him that no one could save him, not even criminal connections. Investigations revealed that the Facebook account linked to the threats against Salman operates from outside India. The threat issued by Bishnoi urged Salman to flee to any country, emphasising that death does not require a visa.
Gippy, the target of the recent shooting incident, clarified that he has no friendship with Salman Khan. Expressing shock over the incident, he detailed his limited interactions with Salman during specific events.
This is not the first time Salman has faced threats from Bishnoi. In March, the actor received a threatening email from the gangster's associate, leading to increased security outside Salman's residence and the initiation of a police case. Bishnoi is currently in custody in connection with a drugs smuggling case investigated by the National Investigation Agency (NIA).

Salman Khan's work front

Meanwhile, on the movies front, Salman just saw the release of his highly anticipated Tiger 3. He will next be seen in Karan Johar backed The Bull.
