Bengali actor Parambrata Chattopadhyay, widely recognized for his work in Bengali television and films, recently got married to his ladylove, Piya Chakraborty. The couple chose to tie the knot in a quiet registry marriage held at Parambrata's residence in South Kolkata. The intimate ceremony, attended by close friends and family, took place in the afternoon.

Confirming the joyous occasion, Parambrata shared heartfelt moments from the private wedding on Instagram. In one snapshot, Piya was spotted writing something while Parambrata looked at her affectionately while seated on a couch in their home. Both donned traditional attire, with Parambrata wearing a rust-coloured kurta, green jacket, and cream-coloured pyjamas, and Piya stunning in a red and white saree with matching blouse and jewellery. Another photo captured the couple sharing laughter while looking towards someone behind the camera. The last picture showcased the newlyweds sitting side by side, holding hands and beaming at the camera. The caption read, “Let us go then, you and I. While reports suggest that Param and Piya were in a relationship for two years, the couple never officially acknowledged their status. Piya, associated with an NGO, was previously married to composer-singer Anupam Roy, while Parambrata was in a relationship with Dutch national Ike Schouten.
Talking about Parambrata, besides making a mark in the Bengali entertainment industry, Parambrata has also ventured into Bollywood. His Hindi film debut in the 2012 hit Kahaani, opposite Vidya Balan, garnered widespread acclaim. He later collaborated with Anushka Sharma for Pari and starred in the critically acclaimed Netflix film Bulbbul.
