Shilpa Shetty Visits Srikanteshwara Temple In Nanjangud

Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty visited Srikanteshwara temple in Nanjangud near Mysuru on Tuesday. She is currently shooting for the Kannada Pan Indian film KD The Devil featuring Dhruva Sarja in the lead. Being made under KVN Productions banner, directed by Prem of Jogi fame, KD The Devil is slated for release in December.

Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty, who is currently shooting for the Pan Indian Kannada film, KD The Devil, visited Srikanteshwara temple in Nanjangud near Mysuru.

Shilpa Shetty Meditate

The actress, who visited the Srikanteshwara temple, meditated in the premises before she was escorted from the place.
Previously during her last visit to Mangaluru, Shilpa Shetty participated in the Brahmakumbhabhisheka and Nagamandala seva at Kodamanittaya Kshetra in Shibaruru. Later, the actress was seen taking part in the Daiva Kola, a traditional ritual in Tulu Nadu.
Clad in traditional attire, Shilpa Shetty was seen along with her family. The actress has even shared the glimpse of the Daiva Kola on her social media handle.
On Instagram, she wrote, “Tulu Nadu da ponnu (Tulu Nadu girl), back to my roots. Introducing my children to my cultural heritage. Attended the Nagamandala and the traditional Kodamantaya Daiva Kola in Mangaluru. My children were awestruck, and no matter how many times I see, it always fascinates to see the power and faith followed with such devotion.”
Recently, the actress has also shared her pilgrimage to Kedarnath Dham on her Instagram. She wrote, “... checking off the bucket list with a pilgrimage to one of the four dhams.”

After making a mark for herself in Bollywood, she debuted in Kannada with the film Preethsod Thappa in 1998. She starred alongside Crazy star V Ravichandran. Later in 2003, she returned to Kannada cinema with Ravichandran’s film Ondagona Baa.
In 2005, she was cast opposite Real Star Upendra in Auto Shankar. Around 19 years later, Shilpa Shetty has again returned to Kannada film industry to play Satyavathi Agnihotri for KD The Devil, which is slated for December release.
