BTS star V's snaps from an official promotional video from the military has left fans swooning. Sporting his SDT uniform, the singer looked fierce as he underwent training.

BTS' V skilfully handles firearms in military

On April 17 KST, a promotional video of the 2nd Army Corps in Chuncheon, Gangwon Province was released via YouTube. In the video, that was filmed and uploaded by corps members themselves, BTS' V was spotted training in urban combat shooting. Donning his military uniform, the Slow Dancing singer was seen gazing into the camera and skillfully handling the firearms. According to officials, V hits the target every time he fires. For the unversed, Taehyung is currently serving in the South Korean army. The singer had enlisted alongside leader RM in December 2023. After completing his five week long basic training at the military boot camp, V trained for an additional three weeks at the Army General Administration School before being transferred to the ROK II Corps. He will be discharged in June 2025.

On the work front

Before enlisting for his mandatory military service, BTS' V made his solo debut with his first album, Layover, in September last year. The album consisted of six songs, with Slow Dancing as its lead single. Aside from his solo album, the Love Me Again singer also dropped collaborative track with UMI and appeared in IU's Love wins all music video.
On March 15, BTS' label BIGHIT MUSIC released V's new single FRI(END)S. The label had shared, "FRI(END)S is a love song in the pop soul R&B genre."
