Over the preceding months, approximately 20 healthy volunteers have ventured into the magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) machine's domain, situated in the Plateau de Saclay vicinity south of Paris, an epicentre for numerous technology firms and academic institutions.

A cutting-edge scanner dubbed Iseult has unveiled an unprecedented magnetic field strength of 11.7 teslas. Contained within a cylinder measuring five meters (16 feet) in both height and length, the machine houses a massive 132-ton magnet energized by a coil carrying a current of 1,500 amps.

Moreover, scientists aim to chart the distribution of certain medications used for conditions like bipolar disorder, such as lithium, throughout the brain.
