Aamir Khan's Daughter Ira Khan Gives Her Bridal Look A Dhoti-Style Quirky Twist
Aamir Khan's daughter, Ira, surprised everyone with her minimalistic bridal look as she married Nupur Shikhare. Opting for a dhoti-style lehenga, smartwatch, and Kolhapuri chappals, she embraced simplicity and charm.
Decoding Ira Khan's bridal look
When you think about Indian brides, you think bright red, you think heavy lehengas and you certainly do NOT think of a dhoti. But, in Aamir Khan's daughter Ira's case, minimalism was the theme and she sure did nail it.
For those of you living under a rock, Ira Khan got married to her beau Nupur Shikhare last night, January 3. And while you would expect her to be dripping in jewels and flaunting her designer lehenga, the girlie did no such thing.
Ira Khan's bridal look
In fact, her bridal attire was simply understated, even a little unique considering she chose to get married in a dhoti-style lehenga, a smartwatch and some good old Kolhapuri chappals. Talking about simplicity at its best!
Nupur was clad in a simple navy blue kurta set and Ira left a few jaws dropped when she walked out in a pink and green dhoti style lehenga, pairing it with a traditional dupatta over her head and diamond jewellery. She kept her hair open and decided to swap traditional bangles for her trusty smartwatch.
Believe it or not, Nupur himself seems to have had the time of his life, in gym wear, as he danced his heart out with his baraat and later changed into a kurta at the venue.
With Ira never been one for show off, her bridal look was always meant to be sweet and simple. But, did you see this coming? What are your thoughts on Ira Khan's simplistic bridal ensemble? Let us know
