Getting earbuds with active noise cancellation (ANC) used to be expensive, usually costing more than Rs 5000. But now, with fierce competition in the market, many brands are now offering ANC earbuds at much lower prices. Following this trend, the Chinese tech giant Xiaomi has launched its new Redmi Buds 5 TWS, featuring 46dB hybrid Active Noise Cancellation and 12.4mm dynamic titanium drivers. The Redmi Buds 5 price in India starts at Rs 2,999 and will be available in two colours -- Fusion Purple and Fusion Black starting 20th February 2024. You can buy the latest offerings from Redmi on company's website and e-commerce platforms like Amazon and Flipkart.
The company has also announced limited offers for the Redmi Buds 5 buyers. The earbuds will be available at Rs 2,499 on the purchase of any Redmi Note 13 Smartphone Series or Xiaomi and Redmi Pad. The latest TWS from Xiaomi is equipped with 46dB Hybrid Noise Cancellation that blocks out 99.5 per cent of background noise, dual-mic AI voice enhancement for crystal-clear communication for calls, voice commands, and everyday use. The Redmi Buds 5 features 12.4mm dynamic titanium driversand promises an ultimate hi-fi sound experience.
It comes with Xiaomi's proprietary dual-channel AI algorithm. The Redmi Buds 5 also comes with three transparency modes such as Standard, Enhanced Treble, Enhanced Bass, and Enhanced Voice. It also comes with a fast-charging feature that allows uninterrupted music on the go, offering up to 2 hours of playtime with only 5 minutes of charging and a total playtime of 38 hours with the case.
It has Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity, Google Fast Pair and Xiaomi Earbuds App with customisation options for noise cancellation and touch controls. Users can manage the ANC in the app across three modes - Deep noise cancellation, Balanced noise cancellation, and Light noise cancellation to refine the overall experience. Offering the in-ear detection feature, the app comes with eight customisable gestures, dual-device pairing, and a convenient "find your earphones" feature.
