The makers of the upcoming Malayalam film Adios Amigo, starring Suraj Venjaramoodu and Asif Ali, took to their social media to release a new poster of the film along with an official announcement that the comedy film will hit theatres on August 2. A new poster was released by the makers on their social media on June 12, along with the announcement, featuring both its lead characters as giants on top of a transport bus and trying to ride it as a motorbike.
Adios Amigo is directed by debutant Nahas Nazar and scripted by Kettyolaanu Ente Malakha-fame writer Thankam. Produced by Ashiq Usman, Adios Amigo's technical crew includes cinematographer Jimshi Khalid, Editor Nishadh Yusuf, and music director Gopi Sunder. The comedy film, which has garnered quite a lot of interest among fans for Asif's slightly chubby look with a receding hairline and a French beard, is an avatar the actor has not been seen in before.
Adios Amigo stars Shine Tom Chacko, Ganapathi, Althaf Salim, Jinu Joseph, Salim Hassan, Anagha, Muthumani and Riaa Saira in prominent roles.

Asif was last seen in the recently-released thriller investigation film Thalavan directed by Jis Joy. The actor has a promising line-up of films that upcoming line-up that showcases his versatility including Tiki Taka by Rohit VS, Abhyanthara Kuttavali by Sethu Nath Padmakumar, and Arfaz Ayub's Level Cross with Amala Paul and Sharaf U Deen.
Meanwhile, Suraj Venjaramoodu is awaiting the release of Vishnu Narayan's Nadanna Sambhavam. Prem Shankar's Thekku Vadakku, which includes Vinayakan in the lead, Grrr by Jay K with Kunchacko Boban, and Nissam Basheer's untitled film.
