Haryana School Timings to Change From Feb 15, Check Revised Timings Here

The Haryana education department has revised the school timings for all government and private schools. The timings have been changed in view of smooth conduct of board exams 2024. The revised school timings will apply from February 15. The Haryana school timings will get changed to 8 am - 2:30 pm for single-shift schools and while the school timings in Haryana for double-shift schools are 7 am - 12:30 pm and 12:45 pm - 6:15 pm.

Directorate of education released a letter which reads, "You are informed that in view of the smooth conduct of annual examinations, the following changes are made in the schools from 15 February 2024.”

To be noted that the HBSE Class 12 board exams 2024 will be conducted between February 27 and April 2, 2024. HBSE Class 10 board exams 2024 will be conducted between February 27 and March 26, 2024.

Before this the Directorate of Education, Haryana revised the operational timings for all schools in the state from November 15. As per the revised schedule, all single-shift schools in Haryana will now operate from 09:30 am to 03:30 pm. The double-shift schools on the other hand will now operate from 7:55 am to 12:30 pm in the first shift, and from 12:40 pm to 5:15 pm in the second shift.

This was announced when the school education across the National Capital Region including Delhi, Noida, Gurugram, Faridabad, and Ghaziabad has majorly shifted to the online amidst severe air pollution in the national capital region.
