New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Sunday released its party manifesto ‘Modi Ki Guarantee - Sankalp Patra’ for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and BJP National President JP Nadda were present with PM Modi on stage.
The core theme of the Sankalp Patra is Sewa, Sushashan and Gareeb Kalyan. As per the manifesto, 2025 will be declared as 'Janjatiya Gaurav Year'.
PM Modi, after releasing the manifesto, said, "In past 10 years BJP has implemented every single point in their manifesto as guarantee... This manifesto is focused on youth, women empowerment, poverty and farmers...we are focusing on dignity and quality of life. Nivesh se naukari humara focus hai."
Speaking at the event, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said, "Modi's guarantees seen as pure as 24 carat gold, BJP manifesto gold standard for world."
BJP chief JP Nadda said, “We all have gathered here today on the occasion of the launch of ‘Sankalp Patra’. It will include how we (BJP) will serve the nation under the leadership of PM Modi. The BJP had appointed a manifesto committee headed by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh that met twice to deliberate on its contents after the party had launched multiple exercises, including massive campaigns across the country to seek people's suggestions before the release of the 'Sankalp Patra'.
The BJP received over 1.5 million suggestions for its manifesto, including more than 400,000 through the NaMo app and over 1.1 million through videos.
